what if GOD was one of US?
Would you like to make a difference in the world? Not for the notoriety, but simply for the sake of doing something unique, something you can silently savor all your life?
One thing I know for sure is that you cannot not make a difference, and you have already affected the world in ways you could never imagine... simply by being conscious that you "are" and by being aware of your "Unique Brilliance" in the world. I love that, Unique Brilliance, we are all just that! Actually it's even more than that, we are "Unique Divinity;" the power that flows through us, that animates us, is no less or more than Divine!
We are incredible beings, and simply by "being" we are absolutely so powerful! It doesn't matter if you're rich or poor, a politician or clean houses, you truly are shaping our world experience in this moment.
So smile at yourself or laugh out loud and feel the love! You "Unique Divinity" you!!! When you can sincerely smile, you begin to feel the power that you are and you will come to understand the effect you make on the world...
Joan Osborne is a singer, one of her songs is "One of Us." It goes, "What if God was one of us, just a slob like one of us, just a stranger on a bus trying to get home." Very wonderful song... what if, though, God was all of us, collectively and physically manifested? How could He not be?
Then we would make a difference in the world just by being... don't you think?
